The E-Carlo is Carlo's plug-in sibling, built for anywhere an open flame simply isn't allowed. Same compact footprint, same cheerful design, same grill surface - but powered by a socket rather than charcoal, so balconies, offices, and anywhere else with a no-flame rule are all fair game.

It's available in Paris Green, Barbecook Red, and Midnight Grey, and gets up to cooking temperature in under five minutes from switch-on. A three-level heat dial gives you enough range to sear something quickly or hold a steadier temperature for slower cooking, without needing to guess. A raised-edge grill keeps everything contained, four rubber feet protect the surface underneath, and once you're done, both the grill and grease tray lift straight out for the dishwasher - the electrodes hinge aside for easy access, no tools needed. A 1.5m cable gives genuine flexibility on where it sits, and it comes with a carry bag, so it's just as portable as the charcoal version.

It's upgradeable too - the enamelled cast iron contact plate, sold separately, turns it into a proper plancha for fish, prawns, and anything else better suited to a flat cooking surface.
