Carron Tweed Cast Iron Combination Fireplace
Carron Tweed Cast Iron Combination Fireplace
The Tweed moves away from the softer floral lines of Carron's Art Nouveau pieces and into authentic late Victorian territory, with an intricate chain-link border running around the arched opening and decorative sunflower motifs adding period character throughout. It's a heavier, more ornate design than the Tulip or Crocus, better suited to a room that wants that traditional Victorian weight and presence rather than something understated.
It's cast from solid iron in the same combination format as the rest of the range, surround, mantel, and back all as a single piece, and comes in Black or Full Polish to suit the interior around it. As with the others, it works with either a dedicated gas fire or a solid fuel installation, giving you the choice depending on how you plan to run it, and at 77.3kg it's a substantial, robust piece that's built to anchor a room properly.
