The Apple Core is the smallest stove in the Ekol Apple range, and in many ways the most impressive. At just 470mm tall, 305mm wide, and 45kg, it delivers the same 4kW output and 82% efficiency as its larger siblings in a format that genuinely goes where other stoves can't. Narrowboats, shepherd's huts, garden rooms, home offices, caravans - anywhere that needs real, efficient heat from a proper cast iron stove but can't accommodate a standard-sized installation. This is that stove.

The circular cast iron form isn't just a design choice - it's an engineering one. The geometry maximises structural integrity, distributes heat evenly in all directions, and gives the Apple Core the kind of heat retention that far larger stoves struggle to match. At 45kg it's dense and solid, absorbing heat during the burn and releasing it steadily afterwards. The large viewing window gives a generous, unobstructed view of the flame, and the airwash system keeps it clean throughout — a clear, living fire in a package small enough to fit on a hearth not much bigger than a dinner plate.

Top or rear flue outlet options make installation flexible regardless of the space, a 12mm non-combustible hearth is all that's required beneath it, and multi-fuel capability covers both wood logs and smokeless fuel. DEFRA approved for smoke control areas, SIA EcoDesign 2022 Ready, and backed by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on registration.
