The fire-brick lining works alongside the cast iron body to absorb and retain heat more effectively than a bare metal interior would - the bricks store heat during the burn and radiate it back into the room after the fire settles, which is the behaviour that separates a quality stove from a cheaper alternative at the same output. The multi-fuel grate handles both seasoned wood logs and approved smokeless coal, ash falls cleanly into a removable ash pan, and clean-burn afterburner technology improves combustion efficiency and keeps emissions in check.
