The Peanut 3 Marine is small because the space it's going into has rules - marine certification requirements, combustible wall clearances, and installation constraints that a standard stove simply can't meet. Built specifically for boats, narrowboats, shepherd's huts, tiny homes, and any environment where the walls are close and the regulations are specific, it's a purpose-engineered marine stove rather than a standard model with a different name.

The cast iron body includes a double heat shield on the rear that brings the minimum clearance behind the stove down to 75mm - a figure that opens up installation possibilities that would be impossible with a standard rear clearance requirement. The bespoke marine tray makes the installation compliant with BS 8511:2010 marine certification, the fiddle rail keeps things secure when the floor isn't staying still, and the cook-top plate turns the stove into a heating and cooking solution in spaces where that dual function genuinely matters. At 348mm wide and 480mm tall, it fits where full-sized stoves can't go, and the 4" top or rear flue outlet adapts to most flue configurations without modification.
