The Peanut 5 is the standard-height version of the Peanut 5 Tall - the log store base removed, the firebox brought down to a conventional stove height, and the footprint reduced to dimensions that fit most standard UK chimney openings without modification. At 555mm tall and 391mm wide, it's the most straightforward installation in the Peanut range, and for rooms where the elevated profile of the Tall version isn't needed or wanted, it delivers exactly the same cast iron quality and 5kW output in a format that slots in cleanly.

The full cast iron build at 80kg is what separates it from cheaper alternatives at the same output. Heat is absorbed during the burn and released steadily into the room long after the fire has settled - the kind of consistent, even warmth that a thin-walled steel stove at the same wattage simply doesn't produce. The large viewing window gives a generous view of the flames, the airwash system keeps it clear throughout the session, and the firebox accommodates logs up to 279mm. Top or rear flue outlet options cover most chimney configurations without requiring additional adaptation work, and a 12mm non-combustible hearth is sufficient beneath it.
