The Scout Tall takes the compact, capable Scout format and raises it on a built-in base that brings the firebox to a more comfortable working and viewing height - the same 4.1kW output, the same clean-burn credentials, better ergonomics and significantly improved installation flexibility. The pre-fitted rear and base heat shields are the detail that makes the Tall particularly versatile: they bring the minimum rear clearance to combustible walls down to just 100mm, which opens up installation positions that would be ruled out for most stoves of this output.

At 379mm wide and 650mm tall, it remains a compact stove despite the elevated base - well suited to small rooms, tight fireplace openings, and spaces where a larger stove would simply dominate. The fire-brick lined firebox handles both wood logs and approved smokeless coal, clean-burn afterburner technology improves combustion efficiency across both fuel types, and the advanced airwash system keeps the large viewing window clear throughout the burn. A removable baffle provides flue access for cleaning, a lift-out ash pan makes ash removal straightforward, and the controls are simple enough for everyday use without requiring careful management of multiple air settings.

External air (Direct Air) compatibility makes it suitable for modern airtight builds, the flue can be swept through the stove without removal, and top or rear 125mm flue outlet options cover most chimney configurations. EcoDesign 2022 Ready and DEFRA Exempt for use in any smoke control area. A 1-year warranty is included as standard, extendable to 5 years on registration.
